This is not a bad idea. There is some delay; some initial lost pictures and if it continually held the last few seconds of streaming in memory it could use them at the beginning of any image set.

Agree * 1000!! I've now tried several lite webcam packages and disliked all for various reasons. Yawcam is really nice--interface is quite usable, and it's intuitive. Also doesn't hobble features on the free version. It does exactly what I need EXCEPT for this inability to continually stream during...

Motion detection: possible to continually capture?

This software looks like exactly what I need. I've read the manual on motion detection. I have it set to 1000 and every second it looks for an event. However, the problem I have is, if there is movement, it will take a pic but then it will not retake a pic until "reseting" back to no movem...
