i think the things you've stated are well outside the bounds of what Yawcam was intended for. Maybe you can visit one of the many freelance sites and look for a programmer there.

dyndns and no-ip doesn't actually hide your IP address. they provide people with a URL that would always point to the target machine even if the IP address of that machine changes. (you do need to have a way of updating the IP address). you really can't hide your IP address if you are hosting a webs...

its basically a sidebar gadget that sits on your desktop, only works with Win7 and Vista though. It just pulls images from HTTP so that you don't need to always have a browser open to monitor the camera you've set-up with Yawcam. i use it to so that I can take quick peeks using win+space and when th...

Hi everyone,

I've just uploaded version 0.40.

It no longer matters whether you include http:// in the URL or not
Added the ability to "turn-off" the gadget so that only a small button can be seen.

just head to http://sticktech.net and click the D-eye tab to get the latest version.

thanks for the feedback. I already had an on/off feature planned but thought it was important to have the fixed version out as replacing the gadget and entering the settings every time you reboot can be quite annoying. :lol: the on/off feature i'm planning would reduce the gadget size to around 20% ...

i've tried downloading the file both with firefox and IE and there was no problem. I think other people are able to download it as well as it's been dowloaded 10 times. i can't really diagnose your problem as i can't read german

Hi, I've just released a new version that fixes the problem that makes the gadget not start properly when rebooting the computer. This should hopefully remove the need to reinstall the gadget every time you boot or reboot your computer. just head to http://sticktech.net and click on the D-Eye tab to...

@theoldschool thanks for the images and for bringing that to my attention. it seems that the problem occurs when the device is started before it can take the first image. i've already planned a feature that would turn the gadget on and off in case the internet connection is lost. this would get rid ...

i see. I'd fire-up my IE and maybe download chrome too so that I can check and correct this issue. if its not too much to ask from you guys, hope you can provide screenshots of the gadget in action. i would like to add a few more screenshots to the page as additional examples. this is just voluntary...

@prutserke i do not get why you are getting a zip file when the file in the download link has a .gadget extension. what operating system are you using? this only works for the following operating systems Windows Vista Windows 7 If you are using either of those, just try changing the extension to .ga...

i don't know if you have trouble reading or something as the right way of installing the gadget has been posted more than a couple of times along with the right values to use for the settings. yet you still fail to follow it correctly. if you can't get it to work then don't use it. i am not forcing ...

@Thomas Acid
Thanks

@tellmewhy
i really can't help you anymore. you can't seem to follow simple instructions and you have a tendency for over-complicating things. doing stuff that weren't suggested and even totally unrelated stuff. you are also the only one who is having this problem. so sorry.
