Ok that fixed it.
Apparently there were a couple of instances of Java in the programs folder that would stay there as Java was updated. I removed all the older versions and the Java leftovers in the registry as per Java's instructions for removal. I installed the new vers of Java and Yawcam works now. Thanks for the ...

The Procedure entry point ERROR
The Procedure entry point _JVM_DefineClassWithSourceCond@32 could not be located in the dynamic link library jvm.dll. This comes up when I start Yawcam. I just installed it in a second computer as my previous install on my first computer worked just fine. What does this error mean and how to fix it?...

Motion detector not saving images to file
I set the file path in the "Save file" Settings under the Actions tab of the motion detector and it will create a folder but as it takes pictures, nothing is actually saved in the folder. I can hear the image being taken as the sound is enabled and I can see images in the Motion Events box...
