Re: Strantge www access attempt showing up in Console

It's a Chinese search engine, probably trying to index your page. It should be harmless.

Re: "Detected possible problem..."

You could also consider activating the scheduler so the program doesn't run after a pre-set time.

Create your own web page and within it, add an image using the same name you are using for the upload. Yawcam will update the image each time it uploads to the site. If you want the viewer to see the updated image without having to reload or refresh the page, add: <META HTTP-EQUIV="refresh"...

Scheduler bug

A minor bug I've noticed - when the program starts it publishes the first image before checking if the scheduler is allowing it to. For example, my FTP schedule stops at 19:00 every day but if the program is started after that time, despite a red 'disabled' icon beside the FTP status, a single video...

Agreed- you could do that but then you rely on a third party for the information and as you point out, you would have to create 'false' text entries for one scheduled time and select that as the one Yawcam used. I think a 'live' calculation would be easier and more reliable, it would need entry fiel...

SUGGESTION - operation during daytime or night only

I appreciate the facility to set the start and stop times are programmable already. I have started using Yawcam to FTP outdoor webcam images to my web site but I have to manually start the program after sunrise and manually stop it when it gets dark again. Obviously, these times are different every ...
