What account is your service running under - I think the service installs under the local desktop account which won't have the right permissions. You could try changing the service to run under your account (Start->Run->services.msc), double click the Yawcam service and select the Logon tab. Add you...

Hi I fixed this - I am running a 64bit win7 OS and so had the 64bit JVM installed. Fixed by installing the 32 bit Java package. Hope this helps someone else running Yawcam in a 64 bit environment. Strangely though, the client app (i.e. not as a service) worked fine with just the 64 bit JVM installed.

Hi I'm running yawcam on a Windows Home Server. I had to install JRE separately but got YawCam working well under my own account. I installed the service as admin - no errors When I try to start the service it just hangs / times out. When I try to start the service from the command line and in debug...
