It seems that a re-installation of JRE cured this problem.
previously a re-installation of YC beta June-6-2007 did NOT cure the issue.

mdCNTRnoReset
Hi Malun The incremental counter mdCNTRnoReset seems to reset after some program restarts. It is no consistently a problem and I haven't traced it to any specific stop/restart but the counter reset (NOT resetting to 0, but to a number less than - maybe a few hundred/thousand) when the program restar...

Error log entries - no lonnger capturing motion
Good morning After man months of flawless operation, the latest Beta version (june 11) is now erroring on every motion when attempting to write an image. No event is recorded in the motion list, no file is saved however I run an external program when motion is detected and this program is triggered....

Thanks I understand what you are saying with the minimum time interval of 1 seconds making the {tstampMS} of little benefit. Its more for consistentcy of filenames, thats all. I'll leave the implementation call to you. Its not a critical issue from my end. I'm extremely happy with the product you ha...

{tstampMS} variable is not available when saving files on a schedule. See: Settings -> Output -> File. C:\motion\{date}\{dateY}-{dateM}-{dateD}_{tstamp}_{tstampMS}.jpg returns C:\motion\2007-04-16\2007-04-16_17:55:17_{tstampMS}.jpg Note: Need to do dateY, dateM, dateD because of previous variable su...

Variable substition in filename 0.3.0
It appears that, at least, the {date} variable is only replaced for the first instance in a path name. Filename = c:\motion\{date}\{date}-{stamp}.jpg would return c:\motion\2007-04-16\{date}-21.17.30.jpg I have a schedule task that creates new directories at midnight each night. Having the date also...

By the sounds of it, its a lot of work. Don't do a code-rewrite just for me  I would rather have the speed and accuracy of capturing a image more than the values of motion and duration. At least it was a thought. The sensitivity and tolerance would be great as at least they give you an overlay...

Suggestion for additional %variable
Greetings. I have a suggestion for an additional variable that can be placed in the Text overlay. Say %X = Duration.Motion.Tolerance.Sensitivity These are the values shown in the Motions Event screen and could be shown simply as: 500.76.12.80 I currently set this as an external variable file, exclud...

Malun Checkout http://tomah.ath.cx/yawcam These two pictures are what I now get. The one with the timestamp overlay is what is saved in my file, whereas the other is what is in the yawcam/motion directory. They appear to be the same, except for the text overlay Yes, this fixes the issue of the saved...

Suggestion for Motion Detection
In the motion detection --> motion events screen, a list of events is shown along with information about the event, such as time, duration, motion%, sensitivity and tolerance. The sensitivy and tolerance seem to be what the current settings were when the motion was captured. My suggestion is to add ...
