Yawcam

Will Yawcam work with windows 8? If so how do I install it and will it run as a service like it does in windows 7? Also which version of the software works the best in 8?

I installed the 32 bit version also and now everything is working again...YAY!!! So what do you think Java changed in their newest update that kills the program? How long you think it will take to figure it out and make a new release? Thanks for all your help with this issue.

I am running Win7 X64. Does yawcam run on the 64 bit alone, or does it need the 32 bit?

No I didn't. Forgot that. But I just uninstalled both and reinstalled the 7.13, and now it says cannot start application. Do I need to install both of those files you gave us?

I just installed the Java 7.13 version and still doing the same thing. Should I unistall yawcam and reinstall? Or go back to the 3.9 version of yawcam?

Well that sucks that the new version willnot work. I would like to try an older version. You said you have an older version? WHere ca i get that from?

WellI just unistalled Java and reistalled it. No change. Anything else you can think of we can try?

Java just updated again today. But this was happening before this current update of java. Is there a different format of stream to use instead of java just to see if that is the problem?

Also, I get the same result when I view with my Public IP and my internal IP. Just some more info, if that helps.

I can see the camera in the preview window. Yes I see the connection attempt in the console window, it shows the time it started, the duration and the amount of data sent...which is 0kb.

I just tried that with no change in my situation. It is weird because when I go to my IP:socket the page loads and blinks like it is trying to load the webcam image, but it just throws up the Offline pic from the img file in the Yawcam directory. My network activity icon show that there is data bein...

How do I clear the cache? The IP address has not changed. I checked that out too.
