Re: Multiple and Variable Motion Detection Zones
Alas, i am moving on to a 'rival' ! In respect to Yawcam i'm not going to say which. They have this most important feature that i use with my multiple cams. You can indeed make as many shapes over a single 'image' (or multiple obviously) so it's the perfect solution. Thank you for your assistance ' ...

Re: Says i am online but 3 browsers fail to load
Firstly many thanks to Yawcam for an excellent FREE product that i've had immense use of for several years. Alas, i give up on this and am moving on to a 'rival' ! In respect to Yawcam i'm not going to say which. The absolute clincher wasn't just the fact that all is working and accessible but they ...

Re: Says i am online but 3 browsers fail to load
Thank you for your continued input it's certainly interesting. I didn't need to use netstat as i have TCPView and that shows both ports in the listening state. The 127 address didn't work. When attempting to view the network image Windows Network Diagnostics says "Problems found the remote devi...

Re: Says i am online but 3 browsers fail to load
Thank you for your input. The above step has taken me back to it saying i AM online, however, i'm now back to three browsers failing to load! As far as i'm aware my only firewall is my anti-virus (NIS), not sure if when i allow port forwarding in my hub/router whether that 'firewall' tab is referrin...

Re: Says i am online but 3 browsers fail to load
This is proving to be hell on earth and Yawcam had worked to perfection in the past. I don't know where i am going wrong. New hub is installed. Port Forwarding exactly as instructed is complete. If using Windows Power Shell i ping the http and stream addresses - network and internet - without the 88...

Re: Multiple and Variable Motion Detection Zones
The four cctv camera feeds go first directly into a standalone video quad splitter - not part of a computer. That presents to my tv/dvd recorder/computer's video input card a single 'image' which has the four camera images (streams) split into four sections. Therefore, on each instance of Yawcam i w...

Re: Says i am online but 3 browsers fail to load
Didn't work but i've been Googling and apparently the version of my hub/router (never know which is which) is known for a hit and miss as to whether the individual unit works. It is an upgraded one from the previous one that worked in both Windows XP and Windows 7. However, i've now received a furth...

Re: Multiple and Variable Motion Detection Zones
OK thank you for clarifying that. I'd probably only mess it up anyway lol.
EDIT
A thought has just come to mind, i guess i could run 3 (or more) instances of Yawcam and have the individual detection zones operate that way. Obviously i'd need different port numbers etc. for each one.

Re: Suggestion -Help eliminate false motion alerts
It would be a great boost for me if one could stipulate if motion change is over a high percentage then disregard. The reason in my case is because at night the security lighting from a house on the opposite which comes on when anyone enters or leaves reflects on to my path. Therefore it triggers Ya...

Multiple and Variable Motion Detection Zones
First of all can someone clarify that one is allowed to customize the code of Yawcam on one's own computer and solely for one's own use? If not........then i offer the following as suggestions/requests for Yawcam to add. I have 4 CCTV camera feeds on a quad splitter which supplies Yawcam with a sin...

Re: Says i am online but 3 browsers fail to load
It's probably your router that won't do the forwarding when the request is coming from the inside of your network. Ask a friend to check your url. It's hopefully going to work :-) /malun But i don't have any friends!!! Lol joking. It's always worked for years on my Windows XP computer. Now i can't ...

Says i am online but 3 browsers fail to load
I used the 'am i online' feature and it comes back telling me all is fine and both http and stream is OK. However Google Chrome, IE 11 and Firefox all fail to display even the html page. I get a perpetual 'waiting for' or 'loading' with each browser. Everything is enabled on my computer to allow me ...
