I'm experiencing same thing -- under Capture mode.
When I click 'capture', put file name, select file type as JPG, then click 'save'. Nothing will be saved, but log says "file saved" though.
If I select other file types, eg. GIF or PNG. File saves normally. (only JPG doesn't work.)
