In the "Motion Detection" window, go to "Actions" tab & click the button "Settings" next to "Save file". That brings up the window "File settings". There you can adjust (or even deactivate) the "Flood control" to suit your needs. AFAIK ...

Try running yawcam as an administrator by right clicking on it & choosing the
corresponding option.
As to the forum search, read this sticky:

How to deactivate checking for newer version?

Does anybody have any idea how to deactivate checking for newer version? I mean by changing something in "yawcam_settings.xml", not by unchecking the respective box in yawcam's settings. I ask because since the new version came out, when I start the program it prompts me to download the n...

Then we must have the same "problem". Maybe an RCA to S-Video adapter
will solve yours too. As to the resolution part I don't know, since that wasn't
an issue to me.

Ah yes, I used to have that problem with Camera Input too. That doesn't seem to be yawcam's fault, but TV-tuner's. Every time I restart the computer, the Input has been switched to S-Video. So I bought an RCA to S-Video adapter & solved the problem! :P ---Edit--- I just noticed that you are sayi...

You're welcome.
There is no username field, but if you (really) need multiple user/password
support, it can be done I guess. That was just a rather simple example. Do
you need multiple users?

You can add something like this in your webpage:

Code: Select all

<iframe src="http://stream1ip:8081" width="99%" height="49%"></iframe>
<iframe src="http://stream2ip:8082" width="99%" height="49%"></iframe>

Hi Richard. Click "Settings>Edit Settings>File". Then add {num3} in the image's filename at the field "Path". So your "Path" should read something like this: C:\Program Files\Yawcam\Images\{num3}.jpg {num3} tells yawcam to save images with a 3 digit name, like 000.jpg, ...

You don't need any workarounds. Yawcam should be working for the purpose you want it either it has internet connection or not. To disable that IP message you get, on yawcam's menu click "Settings/Edit Settings...", then click on the "Connection" sub-menu & uncheck everything....

Have somebody outside your network to test the link for you. Or try testing
it using a proxy.
