Does your path to Java looks like this? C:\program data\oracle\java\
If so, you need to change it, that's the problem. the folder above is not an actual folder, but a redirection and that is causing the issue.

Re: yawcam will not start
What do you get when you enter the command "echo %path%" (without quotes) at the command prompt?

Re: Could not start the application
This is because of the new way java inserts itself in the Path environment variable.

Re: Major corruption
Have you tried with a different camera using the same length of cable and the same connector?

Re: Major corruption
Based on the picture, I'm thinking there's either:
1) A problem with the camera itself
2) A problem with the way the camera is connected (Cable too long, loose connection, etc...)
3) A problem with the camera's driver

Re: Agasio Cameras - Cannot see them...
Have you tried finding the video stream itself?
I looked on Google, but I can't test it. I found this link:
http://www.ispyconnect.com/man.aspx?n=Agasio
For the A500W, they seem to point to:
http://IPADDRESS/videostream.asf
OR
http://IPADDRESS/videostream.asf?user=[ ... =[PASSWORD]

Re: Yawcam is not running with JAVA 8 update 25
Hi Snowman, the solution to this problem was posted on the General page. If you have a problem that you think hasn't been solved, please open a new thread and provide as many details as possible.
The issue with Java 8 is that the environment variable is wrong, but there is a guide to correct that.

Re: TRENDnet Cameras
For the URL in Yawcam, I use "http://X.X.X.X/video/mjpg.cgi".
Security is unchecked.
In the camera settings, I set User access control to disabled.
You can try the URL in your browser to see if it works, it may be different for your camera model.

Re: Yawcam won't start
Have you tried uninstalling all versions of Java, then running the Java uninstall tool to make sure it's clean, then re-install the latest version of Java?

Re: TRENDnet Cameras
On my trendnet Camera, I had to remove the user password so the stream is available without authentication, then Yawcam connected with no problem.
The downside is anyone with the address can view the stream. They can't modify settings without the admin password though.

The "It's a webcam!" text is actually in the settings, under Stream -> Page Designer.

Re: Stream randomly stopped working
Based on the command output, it must either be a firewall or port forwarding issue. Can you double-check those settings?

Re: Yawcam won't start after Java upgrade
Flossy, do you have both 32 and 64 bit java installed? If not, can you install the missing one and try again?

Re: Stream randomly stopped working
Oh, I see. I should've mentioned that. The command has to be run on the computer running Yawcam. The command would let us know if the connection even makes it to your computer. If it does, it would at least rule out a firewall or port forwarding issue. If you want, we can schedule a teamviewer sessi...
