These are the only valid sources in Yawcam Yawcam version 0.3.0 and above works with all DirectX compatible webcams and video capture devices. This means almost all modern usb webcams and TV-cards. It is also possible to use a DV-camera together with Yawcam if you use an additional software like DVd...

It's obvious you need different portsettings for each instance of Yawcam you are running. That is when you want to access them from the outside. Cameras on the same PC or not Why ? You get an IP-adress from your provider and you share that internet access on all available PC's in your local network....

I think it's your settings somehow.
Typing the IP-address http://71.11.171.241:8080 in my address bar give me the error "Err chk Usr online?".
I don' use your webpage where you pasted the code, so please check the Am I Online button again.

Just another question,
Do you have some Error message / warning message displayed on the screen when you open the Yawcam aplicaiton ?
Why i ask ?
If somehow you installed the Yawcam as a service too,
It might be caused by the first started instance of Yawcam.

From your answer i can't determine if this was a solution.
So i ask you,
"In the control panel, is the File option Enabled or Disabled ?"
If Enabled, is it ment to be that way ?

Seems to me you activated the option File on the Control Panel . http://www.yawcam.com/help/img/main_menu_set_edit.png You can change this behaviour by : Desactivate the option again. Or increase the interval of saving the pictures. Yawcam -> Settings -> File http://www.yawcam.com/help/img/set_file....

Re: Is yawcam realy streaming video?

Am not an expert in coding but when you run the client side, it seems that there is a repeating file request (scrolling URL at the bottom of IE page), the file seems to be an image. If this is so, much of the upload BW would be consumed by transfers of full image whereas -presumably- in real stream...

I'm sorry but i can't come up with other ideas to make this working. As said i have successfully installed and can run two instances with different cameras without any problem. The only thing left to do is see if the second camera does work in Yawcam . So if you want to do this, Shut down your PC Di...
