As a followup, I was able to do as stated by replacing the dsg.dll(s) in V 0.3.6, but V0.3.7 crashes if this is tried:{(

So for now, I am running 0.3.6 and it seems to be fine.

New to me problem with Yawcam

Background: As of yesterday evening, all was working well. We then had a power outage and of course all computing stopped (not sure this had anything to do with the problem). Booted up my computer this morning and as usual had Yawcam on in preview mode. Then all of a sudden, I get this message: &quo...

Back when I was setting up my camera, I was trying several different Webcam software programs to see which one suited my needs best. One of them was WebcamXP and when I tried it, it automatically connected to my camera and I happened to notice the url on the main screen of the program. Copied the ur...

I had a similar problem with my Edimax camera. I could view it in a browser, but not YawCam. It took some searching and reading to do some detective work to find the correct address to use. And it is NOT the same as used in the browser. In my particular case, it was: http://192.168.1.102/mjpg/video....

I have an EDIMAX IC-3030Wn Triple Mode, H.264,Wireless 11n IP Camera; 1.3M Pixel camera working on my wireless network. It was a pain to setup as the instructions do NOT give you the necessary information to get it working with anything other than a browser or the included software. After stumbling ...

I am using an Edimax 3030 in wireless mode on my system. The biggest problem I had was finding the correct string to use in order to log on.

In MY case, it was

http://192.168.1.102/mjpg/video.mjpg

Obviously the exact ip may vary depending on you network.

Things have been working fairly well, but I did have an instance this afternoon where the camera became disconnected. I may have been really pushing the computer when it happened. Not sure.

OK, we tried removing everything we could and had to leave the house and it bombed upon exit! The memory usage never got above about 1.75GB (found the offending problem from previous post) and when I left, the cpu usage was in the 15% region. So, when I got home and found that it was not working pro...

I don't believe there is that much activity that would cause that. As I said, I was gone for several hours yesterday and it bombed hours after I left and the only download would be my e-mail. Right now, I am streaming the news off the net and it is working very well! I cannot find any statistical re...

This is why I previously posted a suggestion to have "multiple" motion detection areas. In my case, I can select a couple or three areas that are relatively stable but if I try to make one area cover all three there are many false positives. If I try to to reduce the sensitivity/ tolerance...
