Are you sure you're putting the file in the correct directory? It should have the following files in it: banlist.dat pass.dat ver.dat yawcam_settings.xml If you haven't got the force video format option you should have the Settings>Device (your camera)>Format Control - try all the options to get a f...

This is the same location as you put the disablerunningcheck.txt file which prevents the...

Ah! I've discovered the problem - in the new version the extravars and the settings are now stored in the .Yawcam directory in Documents and Settings\Users directory not in the Program Files as before. As there's only one .Yawcam directory both instances have to use the same settings file whereas be...

Is there any way of suppressing the error message " Another instance of Yawcam is already running. Do you want to start a second instance? "? I am using 2 webcams streaming images to 2 different webpages and want them both to start automatically with windows startup without me having to pr...

Hi Guenes Thankis for the reply. BTW I'm using version 0.3.0>1 built: 2007-06-11 - I assume that's the latest beta version. I verified that I'd checked HTTP and streaming to start up but still no go. These must have been correctly activated because if I start in normal mode they work OK. I've checke...

I've just started using yawcam and it's great! I do, however, have the same problem in that it works fine running as a program but when I close the program and start it as a service it won't stream. When running as a program I've enabled port forwarding on ports 8081 and 8888 on my Netgear router an...
