I'm guessing that the releasecamera will not work properly if you have lets say file options and stream running, file saving at 1fps. Since the camera will be in use by yawcam all the time it wouldn't get released?

I had the same problem for a few months, I tried many things, what fixed for me was using IE instead of Firefox, for some reason, Firefox doesn't handle javascript AJAX calls very well... Works well in IE... If you want to keep using firefox, I tested this and works miracles, install the IE Tab add-...

Try uninstalling your version, and trying the new BETA http://www.yawcam.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1274 It fixed my flickering, but still seem to be having problems where yawcam freezes and saves the same picture in file output over and over... It might fix your problem, so I suggest you give it a t...

I'd say NO, but there is a slight chance that someone very smart or very knowledgeable can lookup yawcam's code, find a flaw, then exploit that flaw to send data through yawcam to your computer, but then again, this would only happen if yawcam was running and if there was a flaw. When yawcam is off,...

HTML on own server & more questions

I'd also like if you could explain to me how I can default the quality to 30%, and the fps to 3 or 5, because my upload bandwidth is very limited and cau...

Cannot locate launcher.cfg
When I try to start yawcam as a service using the srvany way of creating services, every time the computer starts, I get a "Cannot locate launcher.cfg" error message, and yawcam doesn't start. Is there a way to fix this?
