Yawcam

You should try manually port forwarding the yawcam port, UPnP has too many flaws and causes alot of problems like this. There is alot of issues with Linksys routers where UPnP simply doesn't work.

Less than 1 sec means you actually want video out of it, 0.1 is 10fps which is a decent video for a webcam, there is already demands for video, but I doubt you will see images get faster than 1/sec.

Yawcam would access the server directly, it wouldn't go through the HTTP interface. It seems like you placed the file in the right spot, maybe your using an older version of yawcam that uses text files in it's own folder, make sure you got the latest release and test the text file hack again.
