Update: As mentioned Yawcam usually manages to FTP upload only a few images before upload stops - most common 4 images and with 10 minutes interval that is 30 minutes (0-10-20-30). At and after 40 minutes no images is uploaded. However I have at 2 occations experienced that Yawcam continues to uploa...

Well my Panasonic BB-HCM531 has both still JPEG updated every 3, 5 etc second and live stream in MJPEG or MPEG-4. Yawcam should then be able to handle the MJPEG? I have however not been able to find the video stream in the Panasonic Web interface. Should the stream be on the format CameraIP:port num...

Problems connecting Yawcam to an IP camera

I have so far had no success with connecting Yawcam to my two Panasonic IP Cameras (BB-HCM531 and KX-HCM280A). Yawcam has worked fine for me with two PCs with USB cameras for years, but now when I want to connect to my IP cameras I have run into problems. I wanted to use the Yawcam image array (as I...

Well, for people using webcams to show outdoor areas this might be a question of being legal or not...! At least in Norway (I would guess in other coutries as well) you may put up a webcam for outdoor use (camera may of coarse be on the inside of a window) if the photo/video only shown your own prop...

I experienced exactly the same in July 2009 (see post: http://www.yawcam.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1072 ) and then again in December 2010 (see post: http://www.yawcam.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1238 ). On one of the PC's I really needed to solve the problem and did that simply by disabling the "...

If Malun still visits this forum - her are 2 important bugs!

I guess it is now more than 2 years since Malun did the last upgrade on this great software, so I am not sure if he have stopped working on it or not. I really hope Yawcam will be upgraded since it is in many ways a very super webcam software with several features that are actually not available in ...

So sad that no one has replied with suggestions about your problem. I might now be experiencing something similar. Uploaded file is only 1 byte and the jpg file extension has a ~ behind it when I list the files with a FTP client: like image00.jpg~ instead of image00.jpg I run a 48 images array and t...

HELP! Yawcam causes network connection to fail

I changed the computer running one of my four webcams and one of my two weather stations due to the old computer getting more and more unstable. The "old" computer was a (single core) P4 HTT 3,0 GHz with 2 GB of RAM running WinXP pro SP2. The "new" computer is a Pentium Dual Core...
