(AFAIK=As Far As I Know) I don't get it either why it doesn't start for you. I have both XP & 7 too & it's working great on both of them. Some time ago I had 3 instances of yawcam running at the same time on the XP machine with no problem! But it's SP2, so it must be either that or something...

AFAIK their difference is that javaw doesn't have an associated console.
As to your problem, I'm afraid that I have nothing for now. :(

Yes it's correct, to view it locally you need the LAN IP, to view it remotely (like I
do) you need the 72.161.81.40 IP. So you are ok I guess. 8)

I can still see it. & the flag is moving. :) Are you trying to view it from a different IP
than 72.161.81.40? Also, you have a typo at your first post. You typed a period "."
before the port, instead of a colon ":". Maybe that's your problem?

You can view it locally by visiting your computer's LAN IP (e.g. 192.168.2.2).
Or try http://localhost:8081

I had the same problem with two identical USB webcams. I installed one with
it's latest driver & the other one with an older driver. Later I added another
one of them with an even older driver & all of them were still working! So I
guess that your problem is that they use the same driver.

Hm, it's not really for me to say but that doesn't sound like yawcam's "problem" to solve. Also, replacing image #1 with image #1001 doesn't sound like a good idea. How would you know which image is the latest when it's, let's say, at #453 (#1453)? After the #1000 image you will always hav...

I don't get it. You want 1000 images to be captured when motion is detected?

Create a shortcut of yawcam somewhere & call this instead of the program's executable.

That's not a login error, that's a message saying that your FTP server doesn't support the REST command. That command is for setting a point from which the transfer will resume in case of interruption. AFAIK the solution is to ask the server's admin to enable it (or to enable it yourself if it's you...

There might be a problem with the VS though. Some routers (like mine, a Sagem one) assign different LAN IPs to the attached devices every time they are switched off & on. Mine doesn't have an option to give a specific IP to a specific MAC address. So if I redirect traffic from port 8081 to 192.1...
