[SOLVED] Issues with running as service.
Hi. Interestingly, I have done the settings as given in the guideline and got it working fine in one of my desktops. Absolutely working fine, without having to log on to the system, as the service starts with windows & runs fine. In contract, when I had replicated the same settings in my other d...

Streaming goes offline frequently..
Hi..
I think you are referring to the index.html as the default html page which comes with YawCam, is that right ?
Also, could you please elaborate on how did you set the 'auto-refresh' in this file ?
thanks in advance.

Windows Title change
Hi..
Fantastic. It works fine. thanks again.
Also, it appears you have opened a gateway to do many things with AutoIT. I need to explore & experiment, what all simple things can be done with it.

Twin Cam settings issue..
Hi.. Thanks for trying to help me on this issue. To help you to help me, here are the answers. 1. The two cameras are of different make/models - One is ZSMC [china make] & the other is TechCom SSD654. They have different drivers and not clash at the OS level. Since the settings screen is same in...

Twin Cam issues..
Hi.. I have encountered an issue in handling 2 cameras. One of them is set to focus the outside [road] area while the other inside Portico. The outside one is showing all 'white' only as the sun is too bright for the camera to identify objects. For this, I need to adjust the Camera properties under ...

Different Window Names
Hi.. I have two cameras connected to my desktop. And as suggested I have made a copy of the first one and created a second one, then made changes. All these works fine and no issues. However, when I open then, the Window titles are the same, which confuses me, as I'm not able to make out which one i...

Working with gmail
This track can be closed.
As it works well with Gmail and that's good enough for me. Initially I tried setting up for Hotmail, which did not work. And I can ignore that.
thanks.

Backup of settings file
Many thanks Malun,
Yes, since I have 4 instances of Yawcam running I do take backup everytime I change the settings to be on the safer side. I shall do so once before the Beta upgrade.

New version released
Hi.. Congrats and I appreciate bringing out the next version. Looks like more focused on FTP area, which I'm not in yet. However, the delayed 'motion detection' is something of interest to me and I would like to try it out. What do I need to take care of - backup of dirs / files before I install the...

Twin camers of the same make..
Thanks Malun, for your response and suggestion. I found out the problem was NOT in windows / YawCam or the Camera. It was due to the fact the long USB cable I had used to position the second camera at a distance. When I connected the camera to the back pane of the CPU, both works alright without any...

Hi.. Thanks for your response. Yes, Gmails works fine but not Hotmail [smtp.live.com]. This is good enough as I can set it for Gmails and watch that one. Additional thanks for the advise on the 'no need to open port 25 on my side'. While I was thinking of the fact opening ports should be only for in...

Hi. Many thanks for responding to this issue. I'm not sure, I understand fully the role of 'manycam' in this. Do you mean to say, I need to use another tool called 'manycam' to handle 2 same type of cameras for yawcam to work alright. Also, I need to have both working simultaneously and not alternat...

Two cameras of same make gives display problem
Hi.. I use TechComm Cameras SD654 & SD655 modesl. Since they belong to the same family, they share the same drivers. The Windows Device manager shows two diff names - USB 2.0 PC Camera #2 and USB 2.0 PC Camera #5. But YawCam does not differentiate them and show in the list with the same name USB...
