When hidden or minimized to the system tray the icon is the same if you have one or two (or three) instances running. I use TeamViewer to remotely configure and switch cameras on two pc's that are at a cabin 70kms from my home.
I have used Logmein and VNC but I have decided Teamviewer works best for me.
For personal use it is free.
