You can use a "driver" to do so.
Use Splitcam to do this.
I did some tests with it.
Read all about at my forum.

Or you can simply connect a second webcam to your computer.

I'm not seeing where you can output a video format. I see it in settings but when I use VHSCRCap it doesn't give a option for output video to .mov or wmv, etc. I just see .jpg, .png, etc. for images. That's because with Yawcam , you can't output to MOV , AVI or MPG . Not with " VHSCRCap "...
