Are you sure that you edited the right .cfg ( launcher.cfg )? Also, you need to add the word service in it, at the end, so it reads: ..blah...blah.../splash.gif yawcam.Main service I haven't tried running 2 instances with the latest (beta) version, but I know for sure that the previous one was ok wi...

It sounds like there is something wrong with the way you are trying to show the image on your page. Are you sure that you have set the page to display the right image? (& how do you make that setting? Can you edit the page's code or do you set image's location somewhere else?) Also, have you set...

Can't give any suggestions if you don't give any details. Like, what exactly
are you trying to do, what error messages do you get at yawcam's console
etc.

If each camera is on a different computer, then you should run yawcam in every computer, it's that simple! :P But you need to set a different port for each yawcam (don't leave them all on the default 8081). Now, if you mean that you want to view all streams at once, then you have to write an .html p...

Can't really say, but it sounds like it takes some time for the camera to initialize.
Try turning the motion detection on with all its actions turned off & set sensitivity
to 0% & tolerance to 100% (so it never triggers). That should keep the camera
"awake" & eliminate the delay.

I thought of the scheduler too, but even if the FTP is turned off by it, won't his page still display the image that has been previously uploaded? (I thought that the offline image applies only to stream btw.) Also, isn't the offline image visible only to those who were watching the stream when it w...

I don't think streaming is going to be a problem, each image it streams is only
a few kBs. But you can test it of course & you can always switch it back to FTP.
As for the code, I'm sending you a PM...

So, if I got it right, you want to upload an image through FTP every xx seconds, where every new image will replace the older one. & the second part is to have a webpage that will display that image while the station is up, or a "static" image (like a logo or something) when the statio...

If you want to control the pc then yawcam is not what you are looking for. Maybe you should try something like "TeamViewer" (free) or "Anyplace Control" (not free). If it's for desktop viewing only then yawcam would do, but I don't think you can get it to work over a USB internet...

I haven't seen any favicon requests for ages, but now that you mentioned it I recall that I used to have that "problem" too. Dunno what happened though... Btw there is already a 16x16 yawcam.ico in the img folder. Maybe you can copy it in the Stream folder & link to it by adding a <lin...

You can't run it directly from the .exe, you should create a shortcut of it &
call this instead. Make sure that in the shortcut's properties, the field "Start
from" points to the directory where yawcam.exe is.

Are you sure that you have set your router to forward traffic from public port 8081 to LAN IP 192.168.1.102-port 8081? (Because at your first post you keep writing 192.168.102.) Also, are you sure that your computer gets that LAN IP every time? Because my router assigns a different IP to every machi...
