Mail: IOException while sending message ERROR

I am getting this error, while Motion is ON:

"Mail: IOException while sending message"

I have not changed any settings. Motion worked fine yesterday, and would send emails from my gmail account just fine. Now I am receiving this error.

Please help! Thanks in advance!

I was having the same problem. Once I turned off account control in windows vista, the problem went away. "Account control" is that awesome security thing where vista asks for your permission every 5 minutes.

Or alternatively just run the application as Administrator. Just right click on the shortcut-> Properties...Compatibility Tab-> Run as Administrator.
