Yawcam

Yawcam loses it's connection to the web cam and the console shows the following message:

"changing rendermode to J2D due to compatiblity issues with native mode"

At this point Yawcam has to be restarted. It rarely runs for more that a few minutes at a time bfore hitting this problem.

Sounds like there is some problem with DirectShow together with your device and Yawcam.
Please try to run Yawcam in java rendering mode and see if that makes any difference.
This can be done with the "text file hack": javarendering.txt
