Camera Flickering
Camera Flickering
Hi, I recently set up a webcam facing my door but it had to be mounted upside down. In the Yawcam software, I went to: Settings-Device (USB Video Device) and checked the boxes 'Flip Horizontal' and 'Flip Vertical' to make my camera the right way round. I then go into motion detection and click define area, when I do this, the camera starts to flick between the image being horizontal then back to normal. This is also the case for when I check the camera stream. I know it's not a problem with the camera itself because it doesn't do the 'flickering' in the Preview window. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
Re: Camera Flickering
I can confirm that this is a bug. I'll have a look at it.

Re: Camera Flickering
A temporary workaround is to enable java rendering mode in Yawcam. This is done with the "text file hack" javarendering.txt.
