We've been having an issue with Yawcam, both versions 0.4.1 and 0.4.1>2 beta. Running four instances to capture images from four different IP cameras, it seems like two of those instances eventually hit an issue (after several days) where the connection must have been lost, so every time our schedule comes around to save an image (12:00), the last frame Yawcam had is saved instead. For some reason, Yawcam can't figure out that there is a connection issue, until I open a preview window. This sometimes shows the last few frames, then Yawcam realizes there's no connection, and reports that it has Detected a possible problem with the video device. Yeah, you don't say.
Leaving the preview windows open is impractical since this is being run on a server that has to share its resources. Are there any ideas as to why this problem is occurring?
