Using windows XP with all the latest updates from Microsoft. I now find that the preview flickers so fast that it looks as if the frame rate has gone wild and running at what looks like thousands of frames a second?
Dont know if any of Microsoft updates have caused this or not as their are always so many of them. I Uninstalled Yawcam, rebooted and tried a reinstall..... same problem!
Any ideas?

it sound like a codec or player problem, which one are you using? media player? or what?
if the video was right before you update windows, well, the answer is very easy, try to restore the windows from the last time when you were able to use the video (start/all programs/accessories/system tools/restore)
and try to play them then.
if it's still working wild jeje, try to set up k-lite codecs, then tell us what you get
