Streaming video problem

Post by New User »

Hi,
You have written a great program, thank you. I have downloaded trial versions of about 8 paid programs, and none are as good as yours.
I do have a couple of questions though. I would like to put a camera on my website, so I chose the streaming option. I read the help, and followed the instructions: I enabled "stream" on the main screen, and in the settings screen, I clicked advanced and put it my public IP address. I then opened a browser and everything started perfectly. But there was a problem - instead of streaming, it only captures one image at startup, and keeps that image there for as long as teh program is running. I don't know how to get the "streaming" feature running. Here's the URL I'm using:
http://69.200.163.150:8081/ (69.200.163.150 is my public IP)

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Robert

This sounds like the "freeze bug" that occurs on some computers...
When the stream image has frozen, can you still watch yourself in the preview window?
Try to reduce the image size in the settings and see if that makes any difference.

yes, I can see myself in the preview window - i tried to shrink the size of the picture, and it works fine now.
