How to find my outside of Router URL?

Post by balisongman07 »

No matter how many times i click the button "Whats My Url?" nothing happens. I've found my inner URL in the edit settings under HTTP

http://192.168.2.3:8081/

Is there anyway to find my out of Router URL without that button cause it doesnt want to cooperate :/

Usually, when you click in this button, your web browser open, and show you your url adress.
If you get this message in your browser:

" Error: Incomplete parameters supplied...
Always start this script from Yawcam!..."

You need to make changes in your conection configuration, under SETTINGS > EDIT SETTINGS > CONNECTIONS.

To find out what is your URL without use yawcam feature, go to http://www.ip-adress.com/, find your IP adress and use the url below, where "xxx" is your ip adress:

http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8081

You can find your external ip here:
http://www.whatismyip.com/
then you just add the port to that in the format of:
81.100.102.232:80
That 80 at the end is the port, you should change this to whatever port you are using. But if you havent yet set up your router to let traffic though, you will need to set yawcam to use UPnP or do it manually. You can use portforward.com if you need help to do it manually.
