MOTION EVENT LIST...TO SAVE OR NOT TO SAVE?
Just wondering, is there an advantage to NOT saving motion events? Will having a long list of events use up resources and affect my computer's performance? Thanks! -ed
Well, I haven't noticed anything "bad" when I leave them sum up to some
hundreds. The only thing that you may not like is that those thumbnails in
the events list are saved in a folder &, if you are paranoid enough, you may
worry for disk fragmentation or reaching the max limit of files allowed in a
windows folder etc. Other than those, I don't think there is any other bad
side effect.
