Hello
I managed to get Yawcam to work on time laps and create a movie.
However, when I create the movie some of the images are out of chronological order so it does not play back in order of the time they are saved. It appears as if the images are in alphabetical order instead as I can see they are ordered like below after I click "add images"
0
1
10
then in order up to 19 and then after 19 is
2
20
then in order up to 29 and then after 29 is
3
30
then in order up to 39 and then after 39 is
4
40
41
and so on.
I tried saving over 100 images after reinstalling Yawcam but the order still had the problem as it was as the order went 0, 1, 10, 100, 101 etc.
To do the time laps I clicked "file" and ticked "enable file output" . I did this after clicking "settings" and "edit settings" and "file" before going through the wizard. I then clicked "file" and then "images to movie" to create the movie file.
Regards Richard.
Images out of order
Hi Richard.
Click "Settings>Edit Settings>File". Then add {num3} in the image's filename
at the field "Path". So your "Path" should read something like this:{num3} tells yawcam to save images with a 3 digit name, like 000.jpg, 001.jpg,
002.jpg, ... , 999.jpg. Then (I think) it starts overwriting them from the beginning.
So if you need more images you can use {num4} (for 10K images),
{num5} (for 100K images) etc.
Click "Settings>Edit Settings>File". Then add {num3} in the image's filename

Code: Select all
C:\Program Files\Yawcam\Images\{num3}.jpg
002.jpg, ... , 999.jpg. Then (I think) it starts overwriting them from the beginning.
