images to movie (mutiple folders)

Post by generalsu »

I saved my images in different folders based on date and time. When I want to make a movie, I have to go through each folder and select all the images. Is there a easier way to select all the images I want to make a movie without visiting each folder?

I don't use any, but I remember a thread on this forum using a batch file and an external application to automate the images to movie. I tried it, and it worked, but I didn't keep it.

I'll post back if I find it.

Thanks for the link.

If you don't use any, then how do you view them? Especially when you have a large number of jpeg files.

I actually just browse through the pictures, I usually don't even look at them unless I get an e-mail from the motion detection and I want to see what happened before and after the motion was triggered.

I used mencoder and compiles jpegs from current folder just fine. Now, how do I compile jpeg files from sub-folder as well?
