want to use a D-link DCS-900 [SOLVED]

Post by neutron68 »

I've searched this forum for DCS-900, and just 900...no hits.

So, I need to ask if the DCS-900 is a know to work with Yawcam in Windows XP?
The DCS-900 is an IP webcam - connected to my LAN via an ethernet cable.

I AM able to log into the DCS-900 from any computer in my house via it's IP address, so I know it works.
But, I have not been able to log into the DCS-900 from Yawcam.
I've been trying many variations of the IP Camera login window:

Are there any tricks to getting Yawcam to connect?

Help appreciated,
Eric

I'm not familiar with IP cameras, but if you would allow me to connect using teamviewer, I could take a look at it.

I just had a breakthrough, from this page:
http://www.ispyconnect.com/man.aspx?n=dlink

I was just able to log into the DCS-900 and get a live preview window by logging in with the following :URL to Ip Camera":
http://ipaddress/video.cgi

I'm grabbing frames to the c:\temp folder!
I just made a movie with the images!

I'm in business!
