You can change the saving location in the settings.

Want save in different partition

Post by linokoo »

Thank you for your reply but this is the location of "File" "Enabled" but for "Motion" is C: User.... When these 2 are "enabled" Yawcam save in 2 different locations, one in "temp" & other in C: user...

I changed the file setting but the "motion events" continuing to save in C: users....It's these pictures that I would like to change the location.

You can configure both independently.

The motion settings here: http://www.yawcam.com/help/help_motion_actions_file.php

The File settings here: http://www.yawcam.com/help/help_set_file.php

Is that what you were looking for?

Want save different partition

I think that these 2 setting are for "File" not for "Motion" I prefer set this last item because I only enable "Motion", otherwise at the end of the journey there will be several thousands pictures.

I tested the "motion" setting & it doesn't works, on the other side, File setting works.

The motion detection will save an image for every event under:
C:\Users\username\.yawcam\motion\
(where username is the name of the user account you are using...)

These are the images that are shown in the motion event list. The path to these images can't be changed.
You can however disable the motion event list. To do so click:
"Window -> Motion detection -> Settings"

At the bottom, make sure to check the option "Don't save Motion Events in list."
