I have a reverse proxy set up with URL rewriting in IIS (Server2012 R2) so any requests for 'https://MYEXTERNALURL/yawcam' goes internally to 'http://MYINTERNALIP/8081' but when I try this I get the standard yawcam page displaying but where the camera should display on the page I get an 'OFFLINE' message instead.
I have tried this on the internal network too so when I try to go to http://MYINTERNALIP/yawcam I get the same result as above but when I go to http://MYINTERNALIP/8081 the webcam is displayed correctly.
I have yawcam set up to run as a service.
I'm thinking that it's a rewrite rule I have set up but I don't understand why this is happening. If there was an issue with the rewrite rule then surely I should get an IIS error as opposed to the yawcam page with the OFFLINE message? It's as if yawcam isn't detecting the camera when using either http://MYINTERNALIP/yawcam or https://MYEXTERNALURL/yawcam
Any help is appreciated!
