Does cam need SD card to work?

Got this cam, without SD card:

YC does not see it, although XP does. Must a cam have it's SD card in order to be seen by TC ?

That cam looks like it's a standalone camera and needs the SD card, and probably doesn't work as a webcam. If it says that it can work as a webcam, you may be missing some drivers. Did a CD come with the camera?

No it did not come with anything.
Is there another option for a tiny webcam?

Thanks I ordered two of them. No SD needed.
If they work I'll get a usb extension.
