Yawcam service + Manycam + Skype et al

Hi,
I have yawcam working fine as a service
I have manycam set up as my cam splitter
windows 10
however when yawcam service is running I cannot view from the virtual (manycam) cam from any other app (such as skype or camera app).
with yawcam working but not as a service I can view on skype and the camera app
I'm not really sure who to ask (here or manycam),
but has anyone else had this issue? do you have a solution?
maybe if I used an alternative cam splitter? any suggestions
