Need help detecting my Dektec-351usb3 input

Hey there,
I have a camera running through my Dektec-351 usb 3 adapter, Yawcam sees it as in input but when I go to connect it comes up with a can not connect error. What and I doing wrong? Is there a setting I need to adjust or is this not going to work.
What I am trying to do is take a HD-SDI feed and bring it into a computer and give it an IP address so I can put my sky cam on my website.
