Hmm... Are you trying to watch your own webcam, or someone else's?
Are you using the signed or the ordinary applet?
Are you sure that you have enabled the Stream?

I am trying to watch my own webcam on port 80, so I leave the 80 off (although I have tried both ways).
I am using the unsigned applet?
Other people not at my site can see he stream.

I am thinking something is disabled at the site's firewall were I cannot see the stream. I can get to the site so I know the port is open on the firewall (now on port 80 that is no longer an issue).

I will try the snapshots and see what happens.

Are you behind a router? And have you selected "advanced" and forced an public address in the stream settings?

If so, then you probably will have to use the internal address to your "yawcam computer" and add /local.html at the end when you try watch yourself.

Example: If I run Yawcam on port 80 at a computer with ip 192.168.0.2. Then I can watch myself on the address: http://192.168.0.2/local.html

Are my guesses correct?

need signed applet....

on my Yawcam computer, behind my router, I was getting the 'Need signed applet' error.

On another computer behind my applet, I was getting the stream on the public IP address, but not on the http://192.168.0.100:80.

After restarting Yawcam, lost it on the remote computer (both public and local addresses - both with "Err! Check Host! Need signed applet), and can see on the Yawcam machine on the local address (http://192.168.0.100:80).

I was loving it until that! It's a great utility you've created.
