Help me stop Blurry Motion Detection

I have my cam set to detect motion, but most of the shots are blurred. All the "non-moving" objects in the shots are in focus, but the moving elements are usually blurred. Any suggestions on how to stop or decrease this problem? My cam is a Logitech Pro 9000.
