I have a pc with a web cam on a network that is using a windows2000 box with internet sharing. The web server is on another pc out side this network.
The pc with the web cam will display a video stream via MSmessenger.
The stream is set to enable and I forced the ip to the same ip the external 2000box uses. The html code is also pointing to that same adderss in the host value.
When the java applet runs I get an error on the web site stating -> Err. Timed out! user online? <-
What do I have set up incorrectly??

First I have two questions:
Do you run Yawcam on your windows 2000 box, or on another computer behind your windows 2000 box?
Do you want to use the built-in webserver in Yawcam or your other webserver outside your network?
I think you should try to get it to work with the built-in webserver first before you start to use another one...
But we start with the questions above and then I'll see if I can help you.
