SMTP Port

Is it possible to select other than 25 port for SMPT when sending mail from within motion detector?

Malun, also, think about the possibility of secure SMTP (SSL) such as when connecting to Google's gmail smtp server - it requires an SSL connection; plus many other ISP's are starting to do this also. This would definitely be a nice feature; although it would still be possible by using STunnel to provide the SSL.

Yes, I did :D And that's where I ran into trouble :wink:
Possibility to choose smtp port has been added for next beta, but I'm still struggling with SSL and TLS.

Another nice feature would be to have a build-in mailsender so there is no need for an external smtp server. I guess this could make some spam filters reject the mails sent in this way though.

Anyhow, first things first. SSL must work ;-)

A new beta version has been released with the possibility to change the SMTP port and also to run SMTP over SSL.
