0.2.5 not honoring video size anywhere.

Post by LTjake »

Hi, I've just tried yawcam for the first time, but, i've come across a problem. No matter what video size i chose (and where) the images produced are *always* 640x480. I'm using the latest release. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Brian,

please let us know which webcam you use.
Maybe your driver overrides values from yawcam.

I am having the same problem on my Intel PC Camera Pro (CS430 USB) camera.
Drivers are from Intel version 4.100.0.82 in Windows XP.

I will try with another camera tomorrow.

I had the same problem with another Intel USB Camera Model CS330, but had no problems with a logitech camera.

Any suggestions on how to change this for the Intel drivers?

I think I have the same problem. Intel CS330 cam. Preview window always stays at 640x480. Bandwidth while streaming is around 80KBytes/sec ( Yes, it is BYTES) . Cant seem to throttle it down using quality or FPS controls.

Just for kicks I connected an old intel cs430 and had the same problem - so I just use the logitech 4000 instead :)
