Motion Detection Actions not working

I am using Yawcam under Windows 98, and although Motion Events are captured, Actions, such as sending email or firing off an exe, are not. Any ideas how to fix this?

Are all the the actions not working, or is it "only" Sending email and start an .exe?

I haven't tested these new functions on windows 98 yet. I don't have access to a windows 9x machine for testing right now.

Does anybody else with windows 98 experience the same problem?
