I have installed my webcam but Yawcam doen't recognize my webcam

Check that you have the latest drivers for your webcam.
Also check that your webcam support VFW (Video For Windows). Look in your manual!

Yawcam uses VFW to communicate with the webcam, so if your webcam doesn't support VFW it will not work.

Have you tried to detect the webcam from the text menu? (settings -> detect webcam)

You can also confirm that your webcam works with the software provided with your drivers.

I have the latest drivers but my webcam use DirectShow and don't work with VFW. Can you add this option for new version of Yawcam?

No, I'm sorry... But there are no way that I know of to use DirectShow in java. So I will not be able to include support for this in the next version.

Maybe I'll include it when Yawcam has been ported to C++. But there will take several months before the first C++ version of Yawcam is finished...
