My output size keeps being reset to 320x240 ???

Every time I restart this program my video is reset to 320x240 instead of the size that I set it at. I notice that the yawcam_settings.xml file does not even record the data for the size setting.

Every other feature on this programs works very well. I hope that there is some fix for this. I don't want to have to configure this program every time I start it.

Whoops that thread didn't include the instructions.... Here they are:

Go to the yawcam directory and create a text file named forcevideoformat.txt

The text file doesn't have to contain anything. It can be empty but has to be there to enable a new menu option.

Now start Yawcam and look in the menu for "Settings -> Device (x) -> Force video format..."

This brings up a new dialog with the option to choose the video format. However, when this option is used the ordinary "Format control..." might stop work for some certain video formats.

Thanks very much malun, that seems to work. Your program is very nice and does everything I want. I run an outdoor webcam with an image capture every ten minutes and post it on my website ..been running continuously for 5 years.

I have been trying ConquerCam, CoffeeCup, TinCam, Webcam32, but yours is the only one that works properly with the features I need.
