What OS do you use ?
I suspect it's Windows Vista.
I suspect that the user account with wich log on does not have the rights to save/crreate files in the directories.

Seems like there is a problem with Vista support.
I'm using Vista (not what I'd prefer) - and I'm getting the same error msg the first poster mentioned.
I AM using an adminstrative account with rights to these directories.
Might take some tweaking / debugging.

This is a relatively new situation for me. I fire up Yawcam and then hit the enable button for FTP and then i get the tmp directory error.

My Yawcam ran flawlessly on my Vista machine and then still no problem when I upgraded to Windows7. Then about 4 weeks or so ago, it started this issue.

The only solution I have found is to reinstall Yawcam every single time I run it. Annoying.

FYI - same issue on a different computer running Vista. Used to fine. Now I have to reinstall every time.

Configure the program shortcut to always run Yawcam as an administrator.
