hi
sorry this maybe a stupid question
i have just set up yawcam and can view still images
however i have no idea what to type into a web browser so i can view the steaming output on other computers
thanks
alan
view streaming cam
What you have to type is your IP-adrress followed by the port you configured in Yawcam.
This should be something like http://[My_IP_address]:[My_Streaming_port]/
As an example : http://83.250.106.12:8080/ (this is no real address just an example)
You can find those by pushing the What's my URL? button in the "Help menu".

Info found at the Yawcam - Online help pagesYawcam -> Main window
What's my URL? - Displays the address where you and other people can see your webcam.

See the thread : Interesting streaming problem on this forum.
I think this answers your question.malun wrote:You will probably not be able to see your webcam on the public address when you are behind/inside your own router. But if the "Am I online?"-function reports that everything is okey, it should be possible for other people to see your webcam on the public address.
thanks tellmewhy
