view streaming cam

hi
sorry this maybe a stupid question
i have just set up yawcam and can view still images
however i have no idea what to type into a web browser so i can view the steaming output on other computers

What you have to type is your IP-adrress followed by the port you configured in Yawcam.
This should be something like http://[My_IP_address]:[My_Streaming_port]/
As an example : http://83.250.106.12:8080/ (this is no real address just an example)
You can find those by pushing the What's my URL? button in the "Help menu".
Yawcam -> Main window

What's my URL? - Displays the address where you and other people can see your webcam.

thanks for that help
i am begging to uderstand it more now
i have found my url and opened the ports as advised
i can check the "am i online" and its all ok
i can see the cam from within my network for streaming and stills
ie http://82.18.209.187:8081/
but neither outside of my network
ie http://192.168.11.4:8081/
any help appreciated
