Try to move the preview window and see if the format control dialog is hidden behind it.

The format control windows is brought up by the native driver, and might not interact completely smooth with the other windows in Yawcam.

Yup, tried moving the preview window, and nothing. I'd hate to wipe everything out and do brand new clean installs, but I might just have to try it. Even the forcevideo text file isn't doing the trick like it used to. BTW, the cams that I am using are these two:

Sigh. I tried both betas, installing/uninstalling/reinstalling, etc... Still no luck. I did notice after the last reinstall of the release that next to the formats I'm trying to change from in the force dialog, it now has "(def)" next to it, and it seems to revert. Is this the default resolution? I tried changing it in dialogues, but can't find anything to change this settings. I welcome any suggestions. I was manually changing them every startup, but it was becoming a beast, and I'd like solve this problem if anyone else is having it.

Yes, the (def) indicates that this is the default image size.
So changing the image size by clicking "Settings -> Device (X) -> Change to device..." doesn't survive a restart of Yawcam?

Does the dialog from "Change to device..." list the same amount of image sizes as the native format control dialog ("Settings -> Device (X) -> Format control...") does?
