motion: actions don't fire unless saving motion events

1. If I have "don't save motion events in list" left unchecked, then motion events are saved and actions fire.

2. If I have "don't save motion events in list" checked, then motion events are never saved and actions never fire.

Interestingly, if I have it unchecked, and then I check it. One more motion event will fire (as soon as motion is detected), and will be saved in the motion event list and the action will be fired. As if its still unchecked. Then actions and motion events stop altogether. As per # 2 above.

This is different from what the documentation says the behavior is. The online help says that if you check that button, motion events won't be saved in the list, but the actions will still fire.

the only action I have is file output.
70% jpg quality.

no array
flood control on, every 10 seconds.

30% tolerance
don't show image
don't invert detection

just a side note.

I thought I'd pull down the source and add some unit tests to verify it wasn't something wrong with my system. But I then I found its not open source.

This is a clear bug. Thanks for pointing it out.

No, Yawcam is not open source. The source will remain closed for now but it's possible this will change in the future...
